Should I take my issue to some of the other forums?

Before AMS I sold parts on here as well, and never had a complaint.
Yes, this is true. Many bought from you then with nothing but praise.
I wonder if you have second thoughts now about your association with AMS?

You know the more I read your post Glenn, I cannot believe what I am reading.......You are more impatient then anything. I was very patient with you and did what you asked of me. For you to even doubt myself or my integrity...hurts.

Did I ever once do anything wrong against you?

I bent over backwards to help you.....that is all I have to say
Problem is... now you are associated with AMS; and wear their uniform whether you want to or not. And when anyone in the organization screws up; everyone else shares the resulting stigma. Sometimes one needs to "divorce" themselves from certain associations once the facts have been discovered.

And yes, people become "more impatient then anything" when their money is involved. The waiting and false promises Glenn had to endure was IMO by-far way too much.

I gotta agree , grab your tool box and move your association with AMS Racing, or stand up and help them change.

Ward -

I know the forum will agree that it's best for us to take this off-line. See the email I sent you today regarding our starting a class action lawsuit against AMS Racing, Elizabeth Moorre and her husband.

Anyone who has had similar problems with Elizabeth and AMS, please send me an email with your name, contact information and a brief description of your problem. My address is: cdavis@adaptivesolutions.com

Thanks

-Chuck

I might have become impatient but $1300 is a lot of money to me .Darren did seam like a good guy and alot of people told me so and that is why I went with AMS .If i did say something wrong and it hurt Darren I am very sorry he did try but I should not have had to go thru all of this with AMS If the diff. was his thing he should have paid me and then he should of gone after AMS.

The bottom line is that if I did say something wrong about Darren I am very sorry but all along I kept telling him that he was getting painted with the same brush as AMS.Darren get away from these people as fast as you can there are alot of people on the net who are in your area who could use your talents in a much better way .

Again Darren if I did say something wrong about you I am sorry for that you tried to help but I felt all along that I should not have to fight with AMS for my money .

Thanks for the warning about AMS, I won't ever have a problem with them

One thing I've learned the hard way over the years is to never buy something from a company that doesn't currently have the item in-stock and ready for delivery GP's can be a great opportunity to save a few bucks, but IMHO the waiting and almost guaranteed delays are rarely worth the few dollars saved.

z0sense: Are you still a 'salesman' for AMS Racing? If not, you're a wise man. If yes, you may want to reconsider your association with them before they drag your reputation down with theirs (assuming it isn't already too late).

The CF admin might also want to reconsider a few things. I realize that money rules all, and AMS Racing is giving them some, but once a company demonstrates a pattern of deception like AMS clearly has in this case then it shouldn't matter any more. How many threads have been locked, edited, or deleted entirely in the past due to 'unsubstantiated' claims of poor business practices by supporting vendors. Just the fact that this thread is still open after two days and 24 posts makes me think that it's probably all true.

One thing I'm curious about. Did ANYONE ever receive a set of Stingers from AMS at the GP price?

Sorry you are having so many problems with this vendor. First step would be to contact your credit card company and contest the charge. If that doesn't help, then get some legal advice.

Money does not rule all. Anyone who has been around for a while has seen me remove vendors who are not living up to the standards we want from our supporting vendors. We need to look into the problems and verify that it is an ongoing issue. We are doing that right now in this case and will let you know of our decision within a few days.

Troy. I was glad that I got a chance to meet you at the last cruise in and personally thank you for the great job you and the others do here. I apprieciate that you look out for your big family here but also look at both sides to a story before jumping to a decision. This is just one of the reasons that this forum beats all the others combined.

Yep; CF is a business for profit; but the admins will do the right thing in the end. That's why this place is the best.

A big thank you to Troy Roberts for standing up for the rights of all Corvette Forum members.

While I understand that money is important, Troy honestly values the members of this community!

Darren-seems like you had the same problem before. Someone else doubting your professional intergrity. You seem to have the same come back when you screw up.

your are just another victim of lying liz she tried the same with me but i got her cell # and started calling her late at night and early in the morning. when she asked if i knew what time it was i said it's time for you to give me my f*&^ing money back. i contested the charges and filed complaints w/ my c.c. co. they took the cost of the stingers off my account. i reordered from l.a.p.d. w/ no problems.

z0sense never sent me the parts or money from the leaking diff I bought back in 4-13-04. I had to pay for everything to get fixed. What AMS sucks the big one
