I will leave you by relating to you that
my LOVELY wife ( who means more to
me than the former C5 or the new
Ferrari) came very close to being KILLED in the C5 due to GM/dealer
gross negligence.
THAT'S ALL FOLKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I should apologize, I wasn't aware that you were overseas. Nevada, Germany is a very nice town from what I hear. Having no speed limits on the roads certainly sounds fun.
It's nice to see you still hanging out with us Corvette enthusiasts, how did your Ferrari forum friends react when you told them that you had transferred the lease on your C5 and had once again joined them with your new Ferrari? No doubt they are missing you as we speak, so I'll keep this short. Again it was good having you with us for the the two weeks that you have been aboard, and we wish you godspeed and good luck in the future as you do all of your posting on your Ferrari forums.
I absolutely give up with this one-
I was not referring to the Nevada State Highways!

OMG!! could somebody get me some get me some boots to wade in this B.S.???
they treat you a lot better and it has nothing
to do with the money.
THEY ARE REAL CAR PEOPLE WHO LOVE CARS
AND MAKING THE BEST QUALITY CARS.
THEY ARE HONEST HONEST GET IT- HONEST!
No offense intended, but I don't want to hear about quality with Ferraris. I rented a 355 with 2000 miles on it and the leather was already coming apart. In addition, the starter crashed when I had it. Yeah and you might get service, but at what price? I have a friend whose 355 died on him - 26,000 miles (with a 24,000 mile warranty). Result - a $21,000 repair bill.
I'm not bashing Ferraris. I love them to death. The motor and transmission of the Ferrari are amazing. You're right, an experience to drive. Nice sound, the most solid handling of any car I've ever driven. However, my ZO6 would crush the Ferrari 355 acceleration wise and I have $110,000 in my pocket.
I know you're talking Modena here which is a whole different level but the 355 is my comparison basis. If I just had money to blow would I want a Ferrari...sure!
And just two weeks ago you were looking for someone to take over the lease on your C5 so you could purchase a 4x4 preparatory to moving to Tahoe, glad to hear you're staying with a sports car, and congrats on the Ferrari. No doubt the Ferrari fourms will be lucky to have you.
Take care and it was great having you with us here on the Corvette forums for the couple of weeks that you have been with us.[/QUOTE]
See ya
150K for a entry level Ferrari

You know what they say " More money than sense (cents)."
Weiner, don't let the door hit you on the AZZ on the way out.
i LOVE vettes but if i could afford a 360 i would dump it quicker than the speed of light. It's like comparing the girl voted best looking in your High School to a supermodel. Yeah she might cost more and be more maintenance but there is NO comparison. The 360 is the best looking car ever made IMO

Well Put.
Sorry fellas, the Ford "GT" is by far better looking, better performing and worth every penny. Better still, American made and easily serviced. IMHO GT video
I have had the chance to be around many exotic cars. the f cars, the lambos and others...yes they are nice, some are faster, most all cost way more money. If your are blessed with bucks, and want a car to envy..get a a exotic ..going to cost a LOT to own... I feel the vette give a great bang for the buck but might not be up to satisfying the "look what I got and you dont" for lots of richy folks.. I have found that most rich folks are for the most part RUDE. I would rather drive my vette, be proud of how I got it, and be perfectly happy I can run with most of them....and most vette owners are way friendlier that exotic owners... some vette owners are butts too...I love exotics, but would not like to pay the absurd costs to own one...

Well, that maybe true in your opinion, but probably not in most opinions.
Just got rid of my piece of cr...p C5 and bought
a Ferrari. No more steering lock problem, no
more GM bulloney and lies, NO MORE CHEVROLET DEALERS INCOMPETENCE .
And a new Ferrari will blow any stock Corvette
off the road with class, elegance and reliability.
FERRARI AND ITS DEALERS ARE A LOT NICER
TO DEAL WITH THAN GM.
Save up for that Ferrari and know the difference.
Sorry you has a bad experiance. Just wait till you have to pay for that oil change or first repair! Blow away a Vette? Dosent it go 0-60 in 4.5? Hell my stock 1999 Vette will do that.
