There is even a theory on the C4 Forum that C5 owners have a secret wave. When you go by one and look over to see a C5 driver with his finger up his nose, he is giving you the secret C5 wave by moving it around in there!!
Many C5 owners don't have a clue about waving since GM decidied to build the cars to be more marketable <read: easy to get in and out of; better ride; quiet inside, etc.> you have people that aren't true enthusiasts ans bought the cars merely to be seen in. That's my theory anyway.

I completely support this technique as well. Make sure the palm and fingers are evenly spaced to get the most visible area coverage! Like so,
I have also found this to be reverseable, as when saying Good bye! Who woulda eva' thunk it?! All this and ... I once caught a $20 flying by ... as I waved! Just goes to show you! Waving can "pay off"!

After a wave with no return, I have instructed my girlfriend in the passenger seat to flash her two friends at all corvettes!

OK! Which one of you guys let the cat out of the bag?

MAN! Just when us C5er's had this down pat too. :mad
Now we're going to have to get another one. BTW, for those of you still using this not so "secret" (anymore) wave, just don't use it while driving down bumpy roads. The nose bleed is a byotch! :p:

Any wave will do, even if it is suttle.

Great cars, great owners. ( Would so many people respond to such a question if this were not the case? )

LOL, this busted me up

And they need to put a great big red sticker on the visor for when I'm on the freeway and go to wave at someone 'over the top' as is the funnest way... practically broke my arm the first time I tired that, snapped back from the wind felt like a dope. So now it's only over the top waves in town, freeway waves have been cut back to a big paw thrust up in the front windshield.

I-SPEED,
Just where is it that you drive? I promise not to wave!!!

CAJUN,
I think you need to start a new thread:
"What's the best way to clean the nose grease from the secret wave off of my windshield?"

Since I spend the summer with the lid off, an "over-the-top" wave is my wave of choice!
