Default God Bless The Forum!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again and again that the people on this forum are great and so helpfull.
Yeserday or the day before I asked about removing my roof, and within a half an hour, I was out there removing it and storing it safely in the rear compartment.
Then, last night, I went out to snot the machine and found that active handling prevents me from doing a power-slide type burnout.
Then I turned it off and tried again with even more zeal and my vette was all over the road. So, I came home and asked the forum what the deal was and just like always; I was informed that there was a competitive mode to select. Yeah I could read the manual, but....
Later on, I read about the flying roof club. I like to learn by others' mistakes so that also was good knowlege. This is THE place for Corvette owners to learn! Jacking it up, buffing it up, dressing it up, etc., etc. GOD BLESS THE FORUM!!

I'd suggest consulting the manual first - or even use the search engine. 99.9% of the time your question has been answered in the manual or at least a dozen times in the forum archive.

Just remember, never put your roof back on your Vette and not lock it down, especially in a C-5 where is so easy. Most times people lose their roof when they put it on and figure they will lock it down later and then when they come back to the car they forget and get in and drive away and wahla a new member of the flying roof club.

Great! Hope you enjoy going roofless. Just make it a habit to latch it back down - every time, all the time.

Take that roof off! It makes waving that much easier.

I have a love / hate relationship with this place too. I love coming here and getting great info. I hate all the money I end up spending when I see the mods.

Why is it no one bothers to read the manual

On the other hand gilletij, I'm glad you're learning about your car
