The bottom line is that the guys that we're calling "newbies" aren't all newbies with Vettes or cars. They are newbies only to the forum. They may have A LOT to offer, knowledge - wise. They may not know the old-timers around here, or the exact proper etiquette, but they also bring fresh perspectives to the table. That "freshness" is what makes this place so great and entertaining! I think were losing C5 General posters period. I've been here since 2001
and I've seen almost every mod you can put on a C5, plus how many
'auto vs. manual' or 'body side moldings' threads can one take...?
I still peep to help others or newbies that have a question that I know
the answer or have had some experience with.
Of course the NEW model section(C6) will be picking up speed as more
owners acquire the car, it's only natural.

I've noticed a lot of former C5'ers going over to the C6 site also. Hopefully they will bounce back and forth and share their wisdom with the rest of us. I'm sure they have a lot to learn about the C6 also.
