Default Help: applying body side moulding

I just recently bought some black mouldings from a fellow forum member for my black 99 FRC. What is the best way to strip the old adhesive from the back and also what should i use to re- apply them? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated

Jerry,

The easiest way to remove the adhesive without any damage to the BSM's is to use your thumb or fingers and roll it off from one end to the other. This is hard on the fingers/thumb so I would suggest trying some type of (smooth) glove. As far as positioning on the side of the car, in the Archives, (use the search function, however I'm not sure if it is up and running yet after the crash) is a detailed description which gives exact dimensions and instructions. Good luck.
