As much as I enjoy my C5, I've come to respect the attitudes and fun those with older models still have with their Corvettes. Even those models that I don't personally care for have something to offer their owners.

The C6 may have something of the spotlight at the moment because it is new. But it is really just joining an already established line of great Corvettes. Part of the beauty of these cars is their heritage.

How many "obsolete" posts have to be put up in this section with responses similar to does it take????

The majority of us DO NOT feel like that

Sorry, but no. I could have bought a C6 but chose not to because of the styling. My modded C5 is far better than any C6 and without the gimmicks that I do not need.

Hey ! I LIKE MY C5, I'm just not in denial like some of you.

"My blah, blah modded C5 is better thana stock c6" is just sticking your head in the sand.

The up and comming modded C6's will be even better, than a modded C5. You could probably build a tube frammed C3 and have a better "performer" than a C6 also.

Please try to compare "apples to apples" boys.

I also aggree with the C5 looking better than a C6 , but it doesn't matter, the C4 folks said the same about the C5. Really , they did.

I've owned at least 15 Corvettes. Lost count. But I will never buy a C6 unless they fix the front plate fiasco.

I wonder if my sig pic shows up yet?

I don't know about that. I read that GM is having a hard time getting the C6R to run laps as fast as the C5R.

How much ya wanna bet they will figure it out ?

And about that front plate deal, who runs a front plate ? You are correct though, it's a stupid solution. Seems like they could have figured out something besides that hermaprodite contraption.

All I can say to heading over to the C6 Forum - See ya!

I'll continue to drive my obsolete 7 year old relic and be happy with what I've got. You my friend, I'm afraid you suffer a little from peni* (ooops this is a family forum) Corvette envy.

Enjoy your C6!

hey ! I still enjoy my C4 and C5. I just like getting a newer , better model. Otherwise I'd still be driving my old 66 vette.

lot of haters here. Reality is tough for some to handle I guess.

Why don't you just take it on over to the C6 section and keep it there...
