I know the new C6 is out now. I'm curious what ever happened to John Cafaro. I had the pleasure of meeting him in 1999. Every time I look at my beautiful C5 I remember it was he who created it. If it wasen't for him we all wouldn't have our C5's. I think we own John a big thank you and hope that he reads this message.
Last I heard, he was moved to another Dept. in GM. Don't know if he's still working there. One of these days, the whole C5 team should get together once again for a photo op. That would be the coolest!!! Thanks John and everyone else who kept the dream alive and then some!!

For many years, GM was on the verge of ending the Corvette program or severly watering it down. Thanks to the efforts of those listed above, we have the C5 today.
