Hey guys, I have a friend here in S Cal going through a Corvette buy- back with her dealer. Everything has cleared and it's a done deal. She will be getting the money in about two weeks. Problem, She had an 04 MY coupe and wants another one. Anyone know of a dealer giving a good deal that might still have a yellow coupe or if the price is right maybe a vert.

Also try Forum vendors (listed to the left) like Ken or Monica.

May I ask what caused an '04 to be bought back already?

Ray Chevrolet in Cabot, AR (20 miles N of Little Rock) has a beautiful yellow convertible. They keep about a dozen vettes in stock at all times and they sell about 70-80 a year. He's trying to clear out all of his '04's and the last time I checked, his '04 convertibles were selling at about $12-13K off MSRP or about $43K on a $55K MSRP (which I think is very good). I bought in July, and would have bought from them, but they didn't have the exterior/interior colors I wanted in stock and another nearby dealer did and gave me the same deal.

That was the deal I got from Team Cheverolet in Pasadena, (after a computer glitch in the sales dept. of course) but you can check with Pete and maybe he can hook you up with something real close. Good luck.

Contact any of the fine forum dealers and see what they can do for her. There are probably some still sitting on lots that they can either get or already have.

Probably your best bet. It might be hard to find Millennium Yellow though since it's such a popular color.
