I keep reading about different tips available for C5 exhausts. I picked up a set of Borla Stingers (2 tip) from a friend. Personally, I like the four tip ends so I was wondering, can you buy these different tips I read about and weld them on in place of the original Borla two tips?
If so, where can you get them and does it change the sound at all or just looks?

I don't think you can buy just the tips...and I've never heard of anyone doing this...just put your exhaust for sale and buy the 4 tip version, it'll be easier and likely cheaper. Or offer a trade to someone that may want 2 instead of 4...
I think the tips I keep seeing are just the chrome tips that come on the stock exhaust. I see them for sale on ebay and A&A, etc...
I'm not going to sell the exhaust, I like it, I just think it would have looked cooler if it "filled" in more space.
Anyway, just an idea....
Thanks though,
Mark
Probably Corsa Tips...they're made to "bolt on" to your stock tips...but what you'd need is major exhaust work redone...
I do have a 4 tip stinger for sale. Unfortunately (for you), they bring several hundred dollars more than 2 tips because more people like the look of the 4tip system. Best of luck in whatever you decide to do!

A good muffler shop could probably do what you want, but your guess is as good as mine on what the cost would be. You may want to check around and see what it would cost. Good luck in getting the exhaust to look like you want.
