I have a problem that I really have no idea how to handle even though its a rather small one. I have waterspots on my front and rear windows that will not wash or rub off. I have tried Napa glass cleaner with ammonia to no real avail. The spots seem to be "cooked" on. Any ideas of what to do? Thanks, Darroch Malone
It's probably calcium from the water. You might try soaking a paper towel in water/cleaner and just putting it on the spots for a while before cleaning.
I use Stoner's Invisible Glass to do my windows and that stuff is fantastic. No streaks, or anything.

Zaino glass polish. Its the best thing I have found to remove water spots on glass. After you get them off apply some polish to your glass to give a little protection.
Vinegar and water will remove lime/calcium buildup for sure. Then follow up with a good glass cleaner - Stoners, Zaino, etc. A good protectant applied afterwards, and a final buffing with cheese cloth will make it spotless, and much easier to clean the next time.
I have tried everything above before except for the zanio product. Nothing worked. I then tried 3m rubbing compound. Worked like a champ!!! My windows have never looked better.
Well seeing as how I have no idea where to buy half of these products, I think I'll try one that nobody has mentioned yet. Vinegar and water supposedly works well with a 50/50 mixture! Thanks guys, Darroch Malone
