I drove my uncle's 1959 230 3 speed to my senior prom in 1959. Wanted a vette all this time. Finally bought my first one this year. MSG A4 Vert. Owned a lot of Harleys in between. I am 62. New member of the forum and very pleased to be here. Lots of great information

Just curious,

well stated! this is only the demographics of the "Corvette Forum" and not the demographics of all owners.

i heard the GM's demographics for Corvette is at 52.

who cares?!!! i'm just back from a run with people a lot older than i am and they rock!!!

At least I drive it hard, unlike 99% of the old fogies out there!

Dope

you definitely sound doped...

the difference is that they know where/when to drive hard and where/when not to. i've driven with older gentz and they rock and roll!

if you are driving "hard" in daily bases on the road with traffic, do not be so proud and please don't under-estimate what they have under their hoods... GEEZ, they got some serious sh*tz in there that will blow your doors away! at least the onez i met did! (my vette looked and sounded the sh*ttiest! and they know it )

don't drive hard, drive carefully!

I got my first Vette at the age of 22. A 1955, the first V-8 and the lowest production year after the 1953. Got my C-5 Vert at 70. Yes, I'm an old fogie and I like to go fast.

I bought my baby when I was 19 with my own money, but my mom had to co-sign so I could get the loan. Now I'm about to turn 21 in November and I'm still loving her everyday.

Anyone can drive it hard . . . . it takes brains to drive it smart

I got my drivers license before there were any Corvettes . . a good Model A with a flat head was a lot of fun then . .

Drive smart

hey man congrats on the car!! no disrespect, because i know it is possible to be young and afford a vette... but how at 17 can you afford a brand new one?!? i find that a little hard to believe that your parents arent helping you! your not even old enough to sign for the loan yourself!!

what kind of job do you have at 17 to make $600+ month payment plus insurance?? and how much of a down payment could you have possibly put down being only able to legally work for a year or two?!?

but anyways, great choice on a car to buy, and all that matters is that you have it and enjoy it! drive safe!!

28 now, I realized if i won the lottery I would buy a vette... so I thought what the hell i can afford that. All i had to do is give up everything else... and since I cant afford much food it helps me keep to my diet. Though like a good parent I make sure she has the best gas, best mods, and the best wax money can buy... I just have to make sure she doesnt hang out with the imports

You know I have 2 and pay for both off them. I hate when people say stupid things like that. Just cause you couldn't afford one when you were my age doesn't mean i can't.
