Default Tires

I recently purchased a set of Michelin Pilot AS Zero Pressure. They are great tires quieter, handle well...and the price was reasonable (about $1200 installed). Hopefully they will last longer than the Goodyears. Kumhos are great also, but unavailable.

I got 43,000 miles out of my first set of Goodyear EMT's when I replaced them with the second set they still had 3/32 on the front and 2/32 on the rears..

i did the same about 7-8 months back. not the goodyears are a bad tire i just wanted to try something different. i am really impressed with this tire. i think it is way better than emt for everyday drivers way smoother (quieter). ive put 7000 miles on them still look like brand new. ive also read from others they last a long time on corvettes

It was between the Michelins and the Firestones for me the other day.
They were the same price....the Kumhos are almost half the price but they are backlogged into 05....I get the Stones installed Tuesday, also about 1200.....seems like gas and tires for a vette are about the same per mile...
