snubbed by C6
I drove my Z to Atlanta from Miami last week. Had a blast, met some fellow vette owners, got more waves than I ever have in Miami. Drove back home yesterday for the hurricane. On 75 South, a yellow C6 comes rushing up behind me, gets beside, points at my car and gives me the thumbs DOWN. Hope thats not an omen of things to come. The Z ran perfect the whole trip.

I'm sure this guy represents a very small minority of C6 owners.

I bet it's the 1st Vette they ever owned and the dealer told them they could smoke a Z06. Same thing happened with the new Cobra's. When I went to a Ford dealership to pickup a part I needed for my daily driver in my Vette, a sales person seen my Vette and said the new Cobra stock could hand me my AZZ! That was before the H/C packages

Here we go. We are now sounding like all the C4 owners now. Who cares if a C6 or any other vetter for that matter doesn't acknowledge a WAVE?

Oh, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. Thought it was funny actually.
Just had to share it.

Did you read the post? It's not that he didn't acknowledge the wave, it was the way he did it I thought was funny.

Yeah no waving is fine, and model year is really irrelevant, but a thumbs down from another vette is just dumb.
I'd of returned it with a select finger pointing upward.
What a 'tard.

On my way to Orlando yesterday, while I was on I-95 I wave to a
Silver C5 with a RACEYEA
tag on it. Don't know if he saw me wave, but I always try to wave C1-C6.

Lots a places charging 4/5/6,000 over MSRP. You would have to be an idiot to buy.

I'm amazed people would pay that kind of change to be 1st out of the gate in owning one.
They can give me all the hand signals they want because I know the difference in what they paid and what I gave for my 2004 TR Coupe this summer!! This model change gave us one the best bargains for C5's I have ever known.
That represents a ton of mods.
