Stupid bird. God gave them the gift of flight and they can't even clear the nose height of a Vette. This bird wins a Darwin award.

Oh well, chalk that up as.....Corvette 1 Bird....0 (if your scoring)

Lucky for you he wasn't higher when you hit him cause at that speed it probably would have cracked the windshield.

Hey! I thought the Firebird Symbol was a Phoenix!? And why are the Corvette flags on the Transmaro!? You must be a suicidal animal magnet like me! I firmly believe the bird meant to do that! I tell my friends, but they don't believe me ...

Remember when Randy Johnson, pitcher for Arizona and former Seattle Mariner hit that bird in flight with one of his fastballs? What a coincidence.

At that speed, I'm surprised that there nothing but blood and guts all over the front of your car...

Just imagine if a C6 with its smiley face hit the bird, it would be ingested in the engine.

I was driving back from a ballgame a couple of years ago in my 2000 Camry (it's gone now, replaced by the Vette ) right at dusk. I caught a glimse of something divebombing from the upper left to the lower right, then heard a loud 'clunk', and a couple of rattles. It was either a hawk or an owl, or possibly some other large bird.

I drove to the next town, about 25 miles away and stopped for dinner and to check the damage, expecting a bloody mass. Instead, I found the entire right front headlight assembly dangling by its wires. A little help from duct tape helped me drive the 100+ miles to home.

Total damage was in excess of $600, incuding painting the front bumper.
