I also have the Vararam VR1B. I like it alot, I am guessing a little because I did not do 1 mod at a time but I think the Vararam gave me about 3 tenths in the qtr. I think that is what they advertise also. The only problem I could think they may be talking about with the air bridge is the two fasteners did not line up well on the air bridge. My kept coming unfastened, I now have an aftermarket high flow with the pretty flags and it does not have fasteners so that problem is solved. There is one thing I would like to know if anyone has the part number for the K&N filter that fits the vararam. K&N had no idea but I know there is one that fits perfect. Has anyone else replaced their vararam filter with a K&N. I have the hp+ and it really is a little flimsy, I would like a good K&N and I will be satisfied.

I just had a VaraRam1B installed today. I agree that the factory airbridge does not seem to fit well. What brand aftermarket airbridge did you get.

Hi, there is no stock name on it but here is the link. http://ls1performanceparts.com/ The service is a little slow at this place but I am in general happy with the service. The prices seem to be very reasonable, and the tech guy is the owner which is always nice. I had to come up with a special glueing technique for the flags because of the curve of the air bridge. If you buy it let me know and I will tell you how I did the flag glue on, they look like they are welded on now.

Wish you had a vararam dyno with the stingers, I bet the vararam would be more hp then the blackwing or the halltech. Although I do not know that much about the blackwing or halltech, but dont they draw their air from under the hood?

Blackwing here. Easy to install and is not a "bottom breather." Get yourself a hoodseal and you'll be set.
