I just went out to the garage and tried it also, and it turned a bit but almost seemed like it rotated back to the same spot after I let go of the key. It felt like if I held the key any longer it would start. These new engines are definitely not like my old big block technology. I guess the only way to do this is to cut ignition power to the coils if possible. I am not tech savy when it comes to this new technology in our Vettes but maybe some other members might know how and if this can be done safely.
