Default Seat slipcover advice please

I recently bought a new 2004 CE vert and want to keep the seats looking new. In my 99 the bolster on the drivers side had a hole worn into the seat. They both have Sport Seats. I would like to keep this, and any thing else, from happening to the new seats. I have seen the 2 choices in the Eckler's catalog and wondered if anyone out there has them. The 2 choices are 1 with the C5 emblem for $99.99 and the 1 with the Corvette lettering for $84.99.

Will either of these prevent the wear and tear on the seat bolster? Are there other slipcovers that might protect better.

I want something that I can put on and take off easily so I can remove them at shows.

Thanks, Jeff

I use the seat cover from Mid America. Paid 99.00 and use thin foam padding in addition. Seats look brand new, but I have a 2004 with 3000 miles. I still use high quality leather conditioning products once every three months. Good luck!!

Whatever you do......... DON'T ORDER FROM RK SPORT!! They have the worst customer service on the Planet. I ordered some seat covers from them in June and they continuosly botched the order and I'm still trying to get my money refunded. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!

If you want to get some really good covers, try the Wet Okoles. They fit like a glove and look great. If you plan to take them on and off a lot, then the ones from Mid-America should be OK.

I have had mine on my 02 for three years now. I like them because in the summer it keeps sweat off the leather and they have pockets in the back for maps and stuff. My seats look like new.

They cost a little more than $99 but are worth the money and look and fit great!
