Run flats are not a preference of mine. no one has made a case for them anyway. I want quiet, good gripping tires, price is not really a concern, but of course I am not interested in throwing money away.

I really like these tires. Quiet and have great traction. You can get them from www.tirerack.com for about $620.00 delivered. Also Tirerack has a section to find an installer in you area.
I just saw this, I missed it earlier. Thanks for all the help. I suppose I have all the info I need unless anyone wants to chime in.

Default With all everyone has said----

Don't forget there is no spare tire or jack set in case of flat for "non-run flat" tires in the C5...at least not in MY C5!

Kumho ECSTA MX. Best bang for the buck tires. Good traction, quiet and longevity. Nothing but great feedback, my brother has it on his BMW M3 and loves them!

the only tires i have tried are the goodyear EMT and the michelin pilot sport ZP. Both are good tires, but I prefer the feel of the goodyear EMT. Your opinion may vary. [ note: i am comparing new michelins with 50,000 mile goodyears]
