I don't really mind the scraping that much... I'm used to it and I know it is not causing any harm.

However, my new date and the people checking out my clean shiney Vette as I pull into a parking lot don't. I watch for the clenching jaws of on lookers, the grinding teeth, the kids covering there ears.... All of them very afraid that I am about to start world war 3 because the pain my Vette is experiancing.

I just let mine scrape. Not a big deal except the sound it makes and the "You are a loser" stare from the neighbors.

I don't visit establishments that parade women around in tight tops and shorts. That is why I visit Mons Venus in Tampa or the Doll House in Jacksonville

Just bought left and right air dams today at the dealer. Under $21.00 out the door for both.

Mine scapes if I go out of my driveway straight on ,but if I take it at an angle I have no problems ,I hate it but it is better than the alternative which is paying alot of money to have my driveway redone

My car is lowered all the way down on the stock bolts and I have a semi-steep, canted driveway and I just let it scrape. No noticeable major flaws with the airdam and I scrape a lot. Definitely go get yourself Andy's A&A rocker rails and frame savers. They are a must and really help, especially for lowered C5's.

The general consensus seems to be - if you only HEAR the scrape, no harm done. If you actually FEEL the scrape, that's bad.

What I have to do in my driveway is back out at a 45 degree angle until ONE front tire drops off the edge. Then straighten my wheels and let the other one drop off.
