Haaaaaalp! I RAISED my C5!
Okay, everybody go ahead and laugh, but I'm stuck and I can't figure this out.
I did what all the sites tell me, I turned the screw until there were two threads showing and it looks like this:
Problem is, it's almost two inches HIGER than it was when I started.
Same thing with the fronts.
And IT'S higher. What's worse, I tried going the other direction and I can't even get it back down to what it was. Anybody got a clue what I'm doing wrong here?

Stop before you panic - it looks like you went the right direction with both. Have you driven the car yet? If you just jacked up the car and set it back down, the tires are at a weird angle to the car and are not level. At least back the car out and drive it back in again. Then check your height.

They always look like 4x4's after coming off the jack. Drive it around some, your pictures show the job done perfectly!

You guys are COLD!
The good news is that after driving it around, the rear is back where it started. The bad news iis that the front is still too high, but I've been working on the back a lot trying to get it down, I haven't done much on the front. Of course, the flip side to that is that I don't scrape coming in the driveway anymore.
Ah well, tomorrow night! Something to do. I won't be bored.
Can someone who hasn't lowered their car measure from the ground to the highest inner edge of the fender for me? I'd love to know what's "stock". I'm beginning to think that I started with one that had already been lowered.
