I am looking to see anyone's expierences with storing your Vette in the bubble for the winter. I do have a garage and it is NOT heated. I am thinking that this will also help keep critters out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
The unheated garage should not be an issue. I have been storing my vettes in unheated many years. I don't know about the bubble? Looks to be extreme and expensive. I clean her up, add a little air to the tires, park on small carpet pieces, add the correct amount of stabil and attach a battery tender. Then she gets covered up with a Noah breathable cover. I place a few mouse traps in the garage in the event any get in. I check it often when I get the "snow blower" out. Never starting it. My .02.
If moisture is a concern, a Car Jacket will do the trick for a lot less money. I'm storing mine in one (in there already) based on favorable results reported from others.

I've heard that the car capsule is pretty nice for storing cars. Like you say, no critters can get in (unless they can chew their way in), and dust is kept out. Not a bad way to go, but a little expensive.
I keep several of my collection in bubbles. The photo shown is my C5 in an unheated garage I kept it in while I was remodeling my shop. I actually pull the battery as I want no possible acid leaks. The small fan actually filters the air and the car comes out as clean as it enters. I do cover the car also, as the bubble is a heavy gauge plastic and do not want to risk any scratches etc. I also lay some rodent poison around the corners of the garage. We have been using these for a long time and I think they are great. I believe the oldest one I have is about 10 yrs old and still in good shape. Some think it is over kill but several of the cars I store / keep in the midwest have NO sign of moisture on any of the unfinished metal under the cars. This alone is worth the money in my opinion. Is about $400 really a lot to protect a 40k+ toy?
I wonder how much power these take since its pumping all the time?
Anyone know?
The one home I keep one car in is a summer home, we turn the heat on just enough to prevent freeze. The electric bill to run just the motion lights, alarm, and bubble is $35.00 a month. I would compare this to a small table fan. T
