I guess I learn something new every day when it comes to colors and how they react with clear liquids. Take a look at this pic:
I am calling the first one on the left, Medium Blue and it matches up perfectly with Electron Blue (I placed in on Jmzvet's hood and it's a perfect match), but that's the easy one. When I added pure black to clear, I ended up with the next two. It's obvious that the one on the right has a purple smoke color to it, but the center **** appears black under all but the strongest light. Under this condition, it appears to have a deep maroon/purple tint. How this color came to be is a bit baffling, but to try to make it appear as black as possible, I have cast a **** with twice the black colorant as in the middle ****.
