I went through this decision making process recently and decided on the Stinger.

Default Where to buy???

Where is the best place to buy the Halltech Stinger? I was briefly looking on the usual places, West Coast, Ecklers, Corvette Central, and I can't seem to find it. So where did you buy yours and how much?

Thanks in advance,
Max

Halltech or corvette garage as said above. I've seen the price from 199 on a GP here, to 249.99. You can even try to get a GP together from one of our vendors. Even at 249 you can't go wrong. You get the whole intake: filter to TB, as good as the Blackwing is, it cant come close to the Halltech Stinger deal.

I went with the Blackwing. I'm sure the Halltech is probably just as good and the prices are comparable. It's just as others have said....it's all a matter of taste and personal preference.

It was any easy choice for me after having owned a 99 for 3 years with a Blackwing, and having installed at least 10 on Club buddies cars. Not a code thrown, or surging etc on any car I've installed a BW on.

And on the Z I believe the cold air provided by the fog light openings really make a difference. Since I'm doing a carbon fiber engine bay theme it was easy for me to keep that going.

Either one will be an advantage over the stock airbox. I've got the Blackwing. Never had a problem.

I've owned both and currently have the Halltech Stinger-R on my '04. Both are great but you just get more with the Stinger.
