I'm the last one to overdo a car. I appreciate a "clean" look. However, having said that...............
I can't help but to think my Navy Blue coupe might benefit from a strategically placed (chrome)C5 emblem(slightly smaller than deck & Nose emblems)on either the:
1. Painted piller just aft of the side windows.
2. On fenders just above side gills.
3. Both locations? overdone?
I have seen the aftermarket emblems in chrome and I think they would look "clean" on Navy Blue paint.
If anybody could paintshop these on a Navy Blue coupe that would be very much appreciated.
I have a 03 black coupe with chrome thin spokes. I recently purchased some 50th anniversary fender badges. I like how they look on the anniversary package so I decided to put them on my coupe. I think flags would look good on the fender, but it would have to be smaller than what is on the hood, and trunk to look right.
I personally think less is better. The ones on the nose and decklid are ok. I would prefer those to be painted on and clearcoated. Everybody knows it's a Corvette, no need to advertise. I don't care for the body molding right down the center of the of the door either, I think it diminishes the body lines of an otherwise beautiful car. I refused to buy my car until the dealership removed them. Also who needs extra things to wash, dry and Zaino around. But to each his own, individuality and expression are what makes this such a great forum.

With the right emblems, they would look good on the fender. I've seen a few with the emblems up on the pillar behind the side windows and didn't really care for the looks there. Chrome would look good on your color car.
