No amount of mods will get you more attention unless the noise level is such that your Z06 sounds like a mufferless Nascar racer coming down the street. If that kind of neck-snapping is what you're looking for, then headers and a big cam, along with mufferless Borlas will get plenty, including, perhaps, a costly ticket from the police.

I actually understand why the S4 would get a certain kind of attention. A tricked out S4 probably reminds many of a tuner car a la Fast and Furious and appears to them to be pretty cool. On the other hand, many people think of the Corvette as on old guy's car or a middle-age crazy car, though we all of course disagree. A Corvette owner's average age is somewhere around 50(even though we have quite a few younger owners here on the Forum), and a very young driver looks like he borrowed his father's car, which is not very cool at all.
Personally, I have driven both. The S4 is not bad at all, but I still like the C5.
You need to decide yourself just remember hind sight is perfect. when i got my Z06 i sold my C4 to my son.
I still miss it it got many more aprecitive looks than my Z06 (i thought) however as an exaple one day on my way back from lunch a 4 year old gal pointed out my Z to her mom and said I want one of those!!!
so no it's not just an older folks car. the youngest of us know it's something special!!!! just wher do you think an Audi S4 will be in another 30 -50 years? still on the road..........or a pile of rust? my bets on the rust! many many corvettes are that old and still going strong! my C4 is 19 years old looks like new and has 190,000 miles. people still ask my son if it's new!
