How many of you guys have regrets from selling your old car and buying a zo6 or corvette. I had a audi S4 with 25k invested. All audio, performance except for ko4's, and full rs4 body kit, and more. I was infatuated with my S4 and dreamed about it. I loved the car and driving beside my dad in his twin turbo porsche on the highway and around town, they looked amazing. The didnt just snap necks, but put people in the hospital because they were breaking necks. I thought i would love my z but the only time i love it, is when i am driving it fast. It doesnt do it. Yeah it has some mods but i do not know if i should go all out or not.

I love the power but thats it. I drove and evolution VIII and thought i would fall in love but it is so slow i kept waiting for it to go. I was wondering when the turbo was going to kick in. I slammed 4th and grinded it a little and it still was slow. It seems i cannot fall in love with the Z like i did with the S4. I also drive alot and have put 17k miles on it in 8 months. I feel bad and every time i see 1k more miles i feel my car is worth $10k less. I love the car but not sure if i should go all out. I was thinking tigershark front end with lip, tigershark hood. The cartek H/C package and get, 450 NA. Then change my tint from 20% to 6% and get some black chrome lip zo6 motorsport rims. What you guys think because i am struggling here. My gf said she would buy me HRE's possibly for x-mas.
The only reason i love the car is because I can hang with my friends with their supras now. But i have no chance with my one friend who just put down 711 on race gas and will have over 800 by march. He is not competition. But bang for the buck you can not beat a zo6. Nothing beats having no traction on decent tires until you hit third with just headers, x-pipe, and intake. Got 381 untuned with those modifcations. Not to bad and it is untuned running 12.9 richness. So they said i would pick up atleast another 10 hp. You think i should go all out and get all the mods and stop Bit%^ing about the miles. I did beat my dad's twin turbo the other night from a 40 mph role on the highway. I was impressed and he was pisssed. SO he is getting chip and exhaust. That will be eating up my car with heads/cam. This is true because my other friends dad with the same porsche, but chip and exhaust beat my other buddies kenny bell cobra on the highway. Cobra had 550 rwhp, had 631. Should i go all out and make it a cartek monster and make the apperance look more aggressive. Maybe i am the only one with the problem. I just needed to vent. Please post replies. I am serious the car doesnt turn heads like my s4, the only reason i have not sold it yet, is because its fast. But thats all i see when i look at it. Thats its fu$%ing fast and can beat supras. I wish i could trade my car for a supra but my dad says no.

SUpras are so sick though but V8 do not break as much and cheaper to fix. But it is a supra. I would rather take a supra than my dads porsche. But i am saving money and getting good grades. If i get grades he will let me pay the difference and get one in summer. But anyone think i should do the mods i listed instead. Other than speed i do love the sound. My dad says no because he used to have a 500hp 67 vette which ran low 11's. He was my age when he first got his too and i think it makes him feel young when we can both go out and zip around on the highway. I also feel bad beating him the other night. He was really pissed and not into modding his car but says he has to now because he lost to his own son.

 

 

WOW, I thought I rambled..WOW...I have had a TT Supra, Z, NSX, Viper, and many other cars. It comes down to what your looking for. You can make any car fast it just takes dollars. If your not happy with the looks thats another story. If you dont like your Z06 then sell it. Man, I think my brain hurts after reading all of that.

No drugs for me. I guess i miss my S4 too much. COrvettes are sweet but we will see. Anyone around PA that has a heads/cam car or FI that i can take a ride it. Thats what would do if i kept the car. Maybe that will make all these thoughts disapear. Then maybe i will realize my life is too good to be true. I think i jsut need to mod the hell out of the car and will love it.

I miss my Hennessy Venom Viper but still enjoy my Vette. I am just making it better, faster, and more exotic than my Viper. There has to be a better way to convay your message without typing so much to get your point across.
