Default Headlight ands voltage issue.

Last year I replaced the stock GM battery with a Sears Die Hard battery. I have not drove the 98 coupe in about three weeks. One day I see one head light has stood up. I put it down. One day later, both have come up and will not go down. My voltage on my car can read anywhere from 13.0 down to 11.0(mainly at night). Am I looking at a week battery doing this or should I look into some other type of electrical problem. I have never seen a voltage reading of 14.0 since I have had the Vette. Thanks for the help.

A charged Battery at rest should be 12.0 volts. When you start the car it should not drop down past 11 volts. When the engine is running at idle you should see 13.5 to around 14.3 volts.

Sounds like the head light control module could be giong bad if both are raising slightly. The module is under the passengers head light assembly on the front frame crossmenber.
Check the connections on the battery and make sure that they are tight first before you do too much troubleshooting
