Coupe looks awesome if you tint the rear glass...

The only difference I can tell is that the Coupe has lines where the removable roof is places, whereas the FRC obviously has none.

Visually, is there anything else different ?

Thanks !!

Thats funny because there was a poll a while back to see if people liked the FRC, Coupe or Vert better and the Coupe won.
I do like the FRC cars though but I can't stand that they have that nasty antenna.
Also what are the C5R cars....coupes!

to the comment about the C5-Rs being based on the Coupe body rather than the Hardtop/Z06 due to the aerodynamic advantage it gives the cars in GTS racing. Also, IMHO, the Coupe has a much more exotic look to it than the Hardtop/Z06. One little detail that most seem to overlook that I think is kinda cool... the subtle dip in the roof panel continues into the rear glass on the Coupe.

Yeah. My buddy thought that dip was a dent. How in the hell are you going to dent glass?

I like the look of the FRC over the Coupe, though I have a coupe because I wanted an automatic.
Maybe my next Vette will be a FRC..

of all the posts i dont recall anyone mentioning the fact that the frc/z06 has a thicker b pillar (the part thats right in front of the back windshield) than the coupe which is where the frc gains some of its stiffness as far as chassis design goes

See signature for FRC/Z06.

Well I MAY stand corrected...but I don't know how.

This is what Consumer Guide lists for the three models:

Cargo Volume, cu. ft.
Convertible 13.9
Coupe 24.8
Coupe (Hatchback) 24.8

Now I'll be damned if I can see how the FRC has the same amount of room as the coupe. Wouldn't it have the same as the convertible? I thought I knew what I was talking about but obviously I don't. Can anyone explain?

WHen i bought my coupe a few months ago I had the choice between my black Coupe and the exact same year/optioned/miles black FRC (the FRC had HUD and my coupe doesnt). The FRC was about 1k less money for the same miles. I had to Pic the Coupe, the rear glass Adds so much to the look of the car, plus the removable top is a huge plus. Looks wise I think the coupe is 100 times better over the look of the Z06/FRC

I freaked out when I flew to Texas to buy my car and saw this dip... in the roof! I was like oh sh!! the roof is dented! Then I paused and saw that the dip was perfectly even... Phew! And yes that is a beautiful subtle dip that is often overlooked... =)

Coupe I would never get an FRC unless it was a 02 or newer Z06....that's the only way I would sacrifice not having a removable top.. upgraded suspension and 55 more HP stock from the factory.
