Try it on Michelin Pilots hot rod. I only have 306 hp

Plenty of guys have gone MUCH faster with the same or LESS mods.

No offense, but, running 12.5 with an SS3600 & 3:73's is an embarassment....

Even with with street tires, conditions etc... you're about 3/10 slower than you should be..

Guys run 12.1 -12.2 in 85 degrees & 2500 DA with just a Yank 3000..

Just giving you a perspective that your car is really NOT where it should be...
Talk to some other guys with mods close to yours.. You'll see.....

I think you should be a few tenths quicker, and your 60' should be at LEAST mid 1.7's....

Maybe your car is not tuned to its fullest...??
12.5 & 110 mph is way off..........for an SS3600 & 3:73's this time of year...
Thanks Mr Knowitall dude....just posting some drag racing results

IMQuik,

Ignore the "know it all" - with basically a near stock car, a high stall, street tires on a day with very high DA and minimal track prep you did great for the first time at the track with this car. YOU DONE GREAT!

For Mr. know it all, I trapped .29 worse that same day in my Z06 (11.59 vs 11.30) that I did a year ago at Carolina Dragway - everyone was well off from their bests, but since you weren't there you wouldn't have known that would you. Impressive list of wins, doesn't make you an expert. Bring your big bad car down to Atlanta in our conditions and lets see what you have.

Great run IMQUICK!!! Especially great as first time and on street radials! So if you're only 2 tenths or so off "good" times for same mods, without drag radials, sounds like you've done SOMETHING right to do it with 306 hosses!!!

"embarrassment" ???? Shame on anybody for throwing cold water on a great achievement!!!

Keep givin' 'em hell at the track pal!!!

Best regards,

FDA

Sounds good to me. Can you give us some info on your tuner? I'm in Ky and would like to have him work on my car. Where exactly is he located? Thanks.

IMQUIK,
Glad you had a good time

As for the other clown...

That guy is an embarrassment to the community. People like him are the reason this place is not any fun to browse or post anymore.

Nice constructive input, Jerky.

All right, all right, calm down up there...

I wasn't lookin to slam anyone...

I'll try to be more constructive....

I just wanted to point out that in my estimation, I think his car should be running quicker. Only trying to help, as something "may" be amiss...

If not, then great. Hope you can improve on the ET & 60'..
Drag radials & a line lock may get you another 1/10...

Everyone happy now??

Ok..

Since you guys only want to hear rosey things, try this:

"WOW! You ran a 12.5 !!!! Thats GREAT!" Congrats!!!!

I gotta buy an SS3600 & 3:73's so my car can run 12.5 too!

Unbelieveable time, especially for your first time out!

Happy now?

Anyone can say what you "want" to hear...

But go to the Drag Racing Section, post your mods & ET, and more than just one guy will say you should be quicker.. You can believe me, or you can discount it. Its your car, if your happy with that ET out of those mods, then great dude...

But didn't you make the post so people could comment on your ET??
Or was it just to let us all know you finally had the gumption to take it to the track? I assumed the comments should be welcomed, especially from a first time racer..not criticized...

IMQ, probably best to ignore Mr. Know it All, from the looks of his most recent posts he has gone from ill informed arrogance to now just plain annoying. Your MPH and ET for the first time out ON THAT TRACK with just over 300 RWHP with the high DA on street tires was an excellent result. Let him sit up in the bleachers and polish his trophies, we know if he was on THAT track for THAT day his opinion MIGHT count.

Peace, life is too short.

Thats right oh famed & mighty Les..

He kicked azz that day! His car ran super on those tires & conditions!
An optimally tuned car, bringing awesome results!

He's got it running to the max!

I am agreeing with you all that that ET is SUPER!
Why do you want to dispute it?

Seriously, my opinion is there's more in that car for the listed mods..
I know you don't want my opinion, but when someone makes a post on a public forum, it is OPEN for people to comment on, weather one agrees or not. If you don't like what I typed, then simply disregard it.
If you think I may be correct, then search around or ask others what they're running with close to those mods..

Thanks, but there's a number missing. Could look it up but I guess I'm lazy.
