First time down the 1/4 mile!
MTI Project "A4 White Streak" runs strong.
Well.... for my first time in the vette quarter mile.....It was AWESOME!
My 2nd trip down the track R/T .076 - 1.826 60' & 12.548 @ 110.12mph.
Weighing 3555 with me in it. 3/4 tank of gas. 3330 car only.
All this on Michelin Pilot Sports @30psi.
Thanks to Reese for the super tuning job, this thing pulls like a MO FO!
It would not have been in the 12's without the tune....I am sure.
It just feels like a different car now that Reese has done his magic.
If you are on the fence about tuning....jump off now & DO IT!!
Again....THANKS REESE!!

Next...Reese & A4 White Streak shoot for the 11's
SS-3600 flash.
Maybe I should expand upon the strange dyno graph(to some). The reason that the torque numbers are exceedingly high at the beginning of the graph is because IMQUICK has a pretty loose(high stall) torque converter. That's how a stall converter works. It allows the inertia of the engine to be converted to energy to launch the car, that's why you will find that EVERY dedicated drag car with an automatic trans has a high stall torque converter.
The reason that the dyno graph starts so high is that the roller wheels of the dyno sees flash point of the converter and the engines torque at one single data point at the beginning and the torque graph slopes down to indicate the engine and the dyno (which measures inertia) catching up to each other. It looks funny, but every car with a high stall converter and an auto trans looks this way.
Hope this helps, Thanks, MTI Racing

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Take this as advice, or something to think about....
I don't think you're as quick as you should be with those mods...
Plenty of guys have gone MUCH faster with the same or LESS mods.
Even with with street tires, conditions etc... you're about 3/10 slower than you should be..
Guys run 12.1 -12.2 in 85 degrees & 2500 DA with just a Yank 3000..
Talk to some other guys with mods close to yours..
I think you should be a few tenths quicker, and your 60' should be at LEAST mid 1.7's....
IMHO, 12.5 & 110 mph is way off..........for an SS3600 & 3:73's this time of year...

Watch out, as I have found out with OYeaLiz, it gets addicting! After winning so many awards and trophies at Corvette Shows, you now going a different direction with "White Streak" or just adding to it's resume?
Our (Liz's) best time is 12.1 with a Yank 3500, intake and exhaust mods, LS1-Edit tuning and BFG drag radials. The drag tires knocked off about a second on our times.

What is the Yank 3600 like as a daily driver - like in traffic and at partial throttle low speed cruise? Is it slipping all the time at 1200-1800 RPM? And how about on the twisties - is it locking up or do you have to hold it in 2nd gear?
Thinking of dropping in a stall at around 2600-2800 (not as high as yours) and I am curious about daily driveability.
Its an automatic, point & shoot...
I'm telling you, with his mods, he should be faster, alot faster...
But don't listen to me.. I don't know about drag racing..
(see sig)

No offense, but, running 12.5 with an SS3600 & 3:73's is an embarassment....
Even with with street tires, conditions etc... you're about 3/10 slower than you should be..
Guys run 12.1 -12.2 in 85 degrees & 2500 DA with just a Yank 3000..
Just giving you a perspective that your car is really NOT where it should be...
Talk to some other guys with mods close to yours.. You'll see.....
I think you should be a few tenths quicker, and your 60' should be at LEAST mid 1.7's....
Maybe your car is not tuned to its fullest...??
12.5 & 110 mph is way off..........for an SS3600 & 3:73's this time of year...
Perhaps his car should run better than a 12.5, but I think you a bit optimistic to say that a car will run 12.1 or 12.2 with a 2500da and just a YANK 3000. Whoever told you this one lied about the mods he has. Tony
