Does anyone know where it is located?
When do you change it?
How do you change it?

Never seen a mention of a PS filter in either the owner nor service manual. There are air, oil and automatic transmission filters. There are also tranny and PS coolers in certain C5's. Where in the manual did you read this?

 

It's in my owners manual, but it's at home right now. It does have a part number too. I'll post it later on this evening.

If Patches doesn't know about it, it must not exist. Sounds to me like a service reminder from a dealership. $95 to change that filter and rotate your tires maybe?

This is insane. I did get my owners manual and it's not there, but I knew I saw it written somewheres. I called a buddy of mine at Autozone and he says their catalog shows a filter as does NAPA. I copied the info below from the AZ and NAPA catalogs after entering 99' Corvette.
Called a friend who is a service manager for Chev and he said he knew that some trucks have them, but a Vette, he doesn't know.
Still researching??????????????
