Why do C5s get put away so early?

I call it my daily driver. But working from home means it doesn't get taken out 'every' day. I'm certainly not afraid to take it out in most any weather, but I just don't like driving through the dirty, salty roads. Once they've cleared and the sun comes out as it always is here, then it's down the road we go.
Since I absolutely hate taking it out when it's dirty and I'm generally lazy and hate to clean it 'all' the time... well, it tends to stay inside and the 4x4 goes into town with me when it's pouring or snowing. No doubt there are worse dilemna's in life
