I think the cop stating DONT LET ME CATCH YOU HERE again is more of a veiled threat. Only thing he can do to you if he sees you driving thru is WAVE.....unless your violating a traffic law.
Most cops forget that if they are giving a ticket....that the lecture should be optional. If I gave a lecture, and you were smart enough to listen to me for 2 minutes, then you were lucky enough to drive off without a summons. If I didnt lecture you then you were in trouble and you were getting a few tickets.
It sure isnt worth arguing the issue in the street thou. Thats what the court date is for. Just pray the cop doesnt show and they toss the case. Good Luck

He never heard tires, but he needed a reason to stop you just in case you had something funny going on in your ride! Probaly didn't notice the plate unitl the end! Atleast it wasn't a moving violation so no point added!
