I know you're waiting on the manufacturer for HID's. You also mentioned selling halogens. Are you working on them?

So what about this?
BTW, it's your thing but there are many manufacturers of this type lighting. Does your German company have some top secret something or other that makes their stuff special? Just curious.

Cliff...they sure do. I chose them for several reasons.
Seems like we should be down to about a six week wait for your new modules ....... talk to us mray. Best,

Right now it looks like September, so based on this, and the fact that I do have one HID unit, I am going to move ahead with the pop-up units first...I don't want to wait any longer. I will post an update shortly. I may need a "volunteer" in the Seattle area with a C5 for mock ups, as mine will be going up for sale.
Has the cost gone down? BAsed on what I'm hearing on the forum a lot o mistakes are being made with HID retrofits. Ypurs sounds like the best solution so far.

The cost of the headlights has been estimated but not set, so it hasn't moved anywhere yet. The modules I am going to use for the c5 cost more because they are new....the law of demand I guess.
These aren't retrofits....retrofits use an HID bulb and mate it to a halogen base so it can be used in a halogen lamp-designed headlight. I am building conversions which include halogen or HID equipped optics (projectors) that are SAE/DOT approved for NA and building a kit for the car. Big difference. Below is a pic of the latest on the headlights we are building for the 94-96 Impala SS/Caprice. 100% all new brackets, bezels, lenses, and plug and play relay equipped wiring harness.

Wow!!!
Something similar to that which can fit in the popup housing and still retain all popup functionality would be awesome!!!!! Best of all, from what you tell us, there wouldn't be any splicing or cutting. I'm patiently waiting for this mod.

Bingo!! The light modules for the C5 though, will be roughly the size of that blue 1100X driving light in the lower right corner...about half the size of those pictured here.
