Much depends upon your driving habits, tire pressure, driving location conditions, and transmission type. My rears were shot at 16,000 miles, yet, some granny drivers like Evil-Twin have gone more than 30,000 miles on the same EMTs. The fronts should last longer than the rears in most cases.
I got 29K on my 2000's tires but they were probably a bit overdue. I don't exactly drive like a little old lady, but I don't go spinning them at every stop light either.

I don't spin them much either but I wont get close to 20 on the rear tires ,Maybe I spin them more than I think ,but the wife drives the car 90% of the time and I know she dont spin them ....

I got right at 15K out of my rear runflats, but the fronts still had 6/32nds of tread on them. Much depends on how you drive, the pressure you keep in the tires, etc. Some post that they have gotten better than 30K out of a set.
The deal is I have a black 98 convertible. It has Magnesuim rims with a oak top. Some people say the mag rims look like they match the top. I like chrome rims. I don't want to spend more than $1500 to get new tires. I have a guy who will sell the factory chrome wheels and tires and sensors off his 2000 with 14k miles for $1200 plus shipping(Good Deal?). I have many pics and the tires look almost new. Or I could buy non-run flat Kumhos and put them on my rims for $ 550. Or I could buy non-runflat GY GSD3's for $ 900 or so and put those on my rims. But then if I get a flat I am screwed. I don't want to put a ZO6 tire kit in my car either. I do have AAA with free towing so I suppose I could do that if I get a flat. I want to spend as little as I can, new run-flats are $ 1550. What should I do?

currently my rears have 2/32nds left and the fronts 3/32nds left according to the chevy dealer last time I got my oil changed. They said they should be replaced at 3/32nds. Also my car rides like hell right now.
I have 14,000 miles on my original EMT's and they show 6/32nds of the tread still available. I drive spiritedly and go deep into the stop signs and red lights before I brake. I do not spin my rear wheels (why do that?). My tires are wearing evenly all around. I will replace them with GoodYear EMT tires.

23K on my 2000 and I still have at least 5-8k more miles left. I don't drive easy but I rarrely spin the tires. they wear well for my driving habits. I'm gonna put the same tires on too when I need them.
40k miles of mostly hwy driving on mine, I've only been to the track once. I didn't lite them up much because the budget is tight and I have to pick and choose my battles with mod fever being more important than burning up rubber. Needless to say come spring rubber is in the plans. Now if I can squeeze in a set of new rims long with them I'll be happy Since the H/C package this summer they are pretty much usless now.

I got just over 20K on mine. The fronts had a little more but not alot. I'm a believer that the performance and particularly the noise changes as the EMT's get more worn. I replaced with Michelin PS runflats and love them.
24k on mine, I could have stretched it another 4 - 5k probably. But I have them in the corner for take offs when I decide I've had enough. Then I can sell off the wheels I have now rather than give them away.
30000 looked like I could go another 10000. But felt like I was riding on an unpaved road. Could not hear the radio so I went with GY GSD3's. Perfect tire. It feels like I am actually riding on rubber tires again. Smooth and less noise.
