Thanks.
I did mine myself in my gargage no problem. You'll really like the look much better. Some people get a little nervous because you tend to scrape the little plastic spoiler more often, but if your carefull you shouldn't do any damage. Those spoilers were designed to scrape. If you need any help and want to make a road trip to Tampa I'd be more then happy to help you out.

I did NOT, but many do! I think once you start doing that and buying longer bolts in the rear it is also time to think about Bilstien Sport shocks or something equivalent.
If I go any lower than I did on just cranking the stock bolts to thier limit I'd have problems just getting in and out of my own driveway. I would like to go lower actually but I have to be realistic and keep it where the car does not hit anywhere.

I also have an ACI front spoiler so that gives me clearance headaches too........... (but, they're headaches I can live with)

Hey Skip,

The roads down in in S Fla are ideal for lowered cars. But you will still scrape rubber pieces under the front spoiler every now and then. Just go slow over raiload tracks.

You will most likely need longer different shocks as well or you will bottom out. If you have the Z51 Package, get the Billstein sport shocks.

A few other things you should expect. You will find it a little more difficult to get service requiring rack access. Maroone Chevrolet in Del Ray has treated my car well in the past. But now I use Horsepower Speed in Pompano for just about everything I do because they are closer, specialize in vettes with mods and are just great guys to deal with. You should check 'em out, especially if you want a supercharger.

OH BTW, get the frame savers too. But dont get the wheels. Get the metal bars that go on flush. Again, check out Horsepower Speed in Pompano for these. I'm sure they can get them. I got mine at 21STCENTURYMUSCLE CAR when I did my TT 2 years ago and I know for a fact that Horspower Speed and 21STCENTURY have a good working relationship and exchange parts all the time.

I would seriously drive around for a few months to experience the changes and required adaptive driving hapits that 3/4 inch lower in the front yields before cutting bushings. You might regret it if you dont.
