My wife bought a new 67 Camaro in June 1967 when she graduated from college. It costs $2960.00 and was a 327 with a four speed. We kept it 10 years and put 89,000 miles on it. It was still in excellent condition when we sold it for $1000.00. That was a good price for it as most 67's were selling for $500-600.00 at that time.

Ahh, the memories. Mine was VERY similar except for the headlights. The '76's still had the round single headlights.

Great photo and thanks for bringing back the memories!

You may be right on that one!

I've had 2 Camaros of my own, and my Dad has owned quite a few too.

1) 1981 Z28, 383 stroker, TH350, 3.42's.....it was quick. I miss it.
*pics*

2) 2002 Z28, (current car), see sig for details.

3) 1973 Camaro, "Dad's car".....built 355.....it's pretty quick too.

I really love my Camaros, but I've always had a thing for C5's ever since they came out. I'm seriously starting to look at upgrading my '02 Z28 for a C5 (coupe, or preferrably a Z06 ). I've had the Z28 since brand new, in June of 2002, so I think it's time I get something new!

I had 7 camaros and firebirds of various makes befor I got my 04 vert. I still have a modified 1980 Trans Am in to the garage though. Upgraded it to a healthy 400 onstead of the anemic 301. Been enjoying the vette so much, I may decide to part with the TA to make some space in the garage.... Wish I could just add one of the gream garages I have seen posted in this forum........

Two Camaros and loved them at the time...

1975 LT which I believe was top of the line, silver with burgundy demure, plaid cloth interior---I loved that car!

1979 and do not remember the model, but do recall that the Berlinetta replaced the LT and I didnt have that one--that car was a silvery blue color with blue interior.

I've gone through my share of 'F' cars prior to finally getting a Vette. I had a 76 T/A, a 80 Berlinetta, and a 82 Z/28. All fine cars, but nothing like a vette.

My first car was a 96 camaro loaded black camaro. I put 18" OZ comp rims on it and it looked awesome! I almost cried when I sold it.

Just bought my first Trans Am last year. It's a 1997 MN6 T-Top. I still have it, but will be selling it in the spring. Just got my first 'vette (2004 CE Z06) in October.

1971 Z28 Clone, 2nd car and one of my all-time favorites!
1978 Trans Am 6.6 with built motor, my favorite all-time!
Also owned a 1977 Firebird gutless ugly POS that I dumped 'cuz the tranny was toast, but I try not to think of that.

I bought a new '92 Z28 Heritage Edition 25th Anniversary polo green with black rally stripes. Moved to Colorado that same year and had to sell it. Didn't do well in the snow. I was bummed. Only put 13K miles on it. Wish I still had it now.

I have owned a Mustang Gt also a 1987 Grand National that was stolen right after it was paid for. Then I purchased a 1993 Z28 A4 didn't like the automatic so a year later I purchased a 1994 Z28 6speed. I decided to purchase my Vet to keep. I was going to keep the Grand National but you know what happened.

my dad was ready to buy me a new 82' corvette back in '82, for my 16th b-day. however, my choice was to "pump" the smallbock in my '72 camaro (pops was original owner). when i first drove a c-5 in 99', i bought a zz4 and put a cam in it in quest for more power.

until one day....my wife saw me admiring a black c-5 driving down the highway and told me "you should be in one of those or a porsche". the rest is history....i bought a c-5 earlier this year and could not get anything but a vette again!
