Hi
Hope every one had a great Christmas.
My question is how much does your Vette scrape over driveways rough roads etc. and does the scraping seem excessive? If you had this was there anything you were able to do to help?
Thanks
Be safe this New-Year and keep it between the white lines
Some scraping does occur from time to time even if driving carefully. Just part of having the car.
To help prevent damage you should look into getting a set of Rocker Rails and Frame Savers from A&A. This should be the first mod on every Vette IMO. I have them to help protect the car for those times it will scrape.

My front air dams scrape every time I pull out of my driveway. Not much I can do since the car sits low even at the stock height. If it is scraping in other places on the front end, then you may want to get some of the little wheels that mount to the bars under the front. This may help.

There is no way around it. You sure don't want to park on the street.
That "air dam" is spring loaded and kinda' meant to scrape rather thean break off. I've been scraping on my driveway for 2 years with little or no wear on the "dam". Just buy a new one when you can't bear running a scratched one.
About the only way to avoid scraping is to not drive it at all. Most of the time it's the air dam - and not to worry.
Just watch for the stop blocks and curbs in parking lots, and most driveway entrance's to mall's, etc. The 's that designed most driveways obviously don't drive Vette's
Roads around here are pretty good so not too much scraping. After lowering the front airdam I would scrape almost every day, and my heart would stop, so I trimmed it (the air dam that is) 1" and she now rarely scrapes.
