The first time
I tried Zaino was on my 02 Avalanche. Did all the steps including the clay. I loved the results! I got hooked! I found myself Zainoing it all the time. Truck looks great, and nothing sticks to it. When I bought the Vette, I couldn't wait to get it home to wash and Zaino! It rained for about a week straight 
. When the weather finally broke, I Zainoed to no end. I love the stuff. A lot of steps the first time, if you Dawn, and clay, and so on. Now I can wash and Zaino in about 1-1/2 hours.

Unless its a real sponge, 101% cotton applicator or towel, or silk made from the nose hairs of 10,000 arctic wolves, nothing touches the paint!
Take advantage of the Zaino experience and simply blow away the water droplets with a leaf blower (avoid doing this in sand or gravel driveways). Works great at getting residual water out of the nooks and crannies.

Here's another method to keep it wet, at least for a sportbike... Let a buddy of yours take it out for a spin and jump it off a bridge into a stream... Seems to work as I recall...
