Maybe that's why some guys talk about washing their car when it's raining?

Hell, I'm not kidding, I hit the hood with the hose and by the time I moved around to the fender, all the water had run off. It was almost dry. Damnest thing I've ever seen. The word "beading" just doesn't do this stuff justice.

Direct from Zaino Brothers. They're a forum sponsor, links on the bar.

Does this mean I have to start using Zaino on the frame?

No, but you might want to think about waxing the oil pan.

Damn.....I knew the hype was to good. There just had to be something wrong with Zaino. Thanks JACKAL0PE for finally busting the myth.

I am with you, I recently put 3 coats on my car and it beads up unbelivably when you hit it with a hose. The problem I have is when I dry it, I have to constantly wring out the absorber because if it is damp at all after wiping off big drops of water I am left with small drops of water on the surface.

This is my first experience with Zaino and am loving it, I am just curious to see how long it lasts.

Try Maguires NXT. 14.99 a bottle. I love this new stuff (synthetic) and its available at most automotive stores. I'm ready for the flames from Zaino guys. Made my Black paint a touch darker and it looks like you could swim in the paint. Its been 6 weeks and it still beads like crazy when I wash it. I told my wife she could put her make up on in the reflection of the paint. This stuff is non abraisive so make sure your paint is cleaned or use a cleaner wax with abraisives before hand.

No flame here. I thought I'd try the NXT, I just couldn't find any. The local Pep Boys and Advance have plenty of Mequires stuff, just no NXT.

With care, about a year. I have a friend with a 02 Z06 that introduced me to Zaino (and C5s) and his 7 coats lasted for 11 months

I'm not trying to knock Zaino, its obviously some of the best wax you can buy hands down, however with the NXT, Zaino has some serious competition here and its availability is growing and is now in about 50% of our Automotive stores in the Dallas Metroplex. Also this stuff goes on just as easy as it comes off. No elbow grease needed. a 5 year old could do it no problem.

Try Wally World, that's where I got mine.

Try the California water blade first. The absorber will need very little wringing and the small dropplets are few.

I'll try that. Never used it before, never needed to for that matter, makes good sense.
