This is a good buy and I have heard of other forum members using these parts. The wood would work also.
Ecklers has just began selling some nice ones also. I bought them but they wont fit cause I have metal rocker rail protetcors all the way down the rocker panels.
But the eckler ones are pretty cool cause they insert right into the hole. You then twist them and they stay in, like the bimmers, no need to remove them. And the thickness is like only 1/2 inch from when they are inserted so unless your car is slammed, they pose no problems in getting a jack underneath them.
