Oh, and btw.. I'm 31 today.. so... I don't QUITE fall into the old fart category... yet.
I have a black/black coupe - and drive with the top off in nice weather, does that count? Plus it's nice and loud
Oh gawd yes. Don't you just hate it? I have to go out every morning and peal those damn chicks off the car. You would think that after the first few got sucked in the rest would keep their distance.
Charlie,
Like I said, if I'm in the country, I'll be at Carlisle in August!! Meeting everyone would be great!!
I'm not a fan(atic) of any sport, so I'm bewildered over reactions to any team's wins or losses. Here in CT/RI it's Yankees/Red Sox and Patriots/???? (no clue) that all my co workers and friends go on about. I'm totally in the dark as to which sport they are about to commit murder over, far less who the star players are, etc.
For me, there is great beauty in language, music, literature, art, nature and other things that get my blood going, not hirsute men in costumes committing ritual battle against each other.
Stephen
Stephen,
The pleasure would be all mine to meet "the man, the myth, the legend in his own trousers"!
Oh, I love the arts as well, but just something about beer, pizza, and football, and Corvettes.....I am starting to feel like a Tim (Allen) the Toolman Taylor skit....just need the grunting.....urgh urgh urgh.

There's a nice little blonde that patrols near where I work. She and her training officer (another nice blond) pulled me over one night (I was doing about 10 over the limit) and they let me go. They're always scouting for DUI's since there's a Sports bar right next to my work. I know that's why they pulled me over. Anyways it was by far the most fun I've ever had being pulled over by LEO's. I've got a RAIDERS hitch cover on my Silverado pickup and when the training officer saw it she said she was a 49ER's fan but the other officer was a RAIDERS fan so that's why they were letting me off. I was hopping they were going to hand cuff me and have there way with me, so much for fantasies unfulfilled. Nothing like a woman in uniform.

EG my brother, don't sweat it. The guy just signed on last month and obviously hasn't been around long enough to get our humor. I don't think Grumpy had a problem with you either, the big grin tells me he thought it was funny himself. It ain't worth getting worked up over, 90% of these guys wouldn't say half the **** they say if we were all face to face. I don't even post in a thread if some idiot is lurking, it might prompt me to take a road trip and open up a can of whoop azz. Now where were we, oh yeah, hot blonde LEO's.

Tim,
You're right, as usual. So yes, where were we?
Shouldn't we get this thread back on topic? Or at least pretend to get it back on topic? At least that way we can solicite more humourous input from the wonderful members of the Forum

Yes let's get this back on topic. There's bound to be more chick magnet stories out there and pic's (I loved the one with the Hooters girls). How bout it fellas.
C'mon and Roswell, GA is a bustling metropolis, huh? I'll take the dirt as long as it comes with the culture and activity...
Well yeah, actually it is.
Roswell is a mostly well-to-do suburb of Atlanta (I say mostly because since I live there, it can't be 100% well-to-do) with a large number of homes on the US Historic Registry, it's own Visual Arts Center, it's own Music Center, a very tony "arts district" with a large number of art gallaries and its own classical music ensemble. In all of Georgia, Roswell is probably the most aggressive city when it comes to bringing in culture.
