Stephen,

Are you going to either the Forum Cruise-In or Carlisle this year?

The Forum CruiseIn is in Bowling Green, Ky in May.
Carlisle is in August in Pennslyvania (about 80 miles from Filthydelphia).

Just thought I might get a chance to bask in the glow of the forum's most famous chick magnet! :

TC, TC, TC...
I never, ever use Shakespeare, for he is not the Master Wordsmith. There is Another that is far, far elevated above the Bard. I humbly attempt to emulate Him.

In any case, women (in my limited experience), may say they love romance and chivalrous behaviour, but they appear, in fact, to be driven by matters of the flesh, and not of flame.

I am attracted to the "old fashion" qualities that very few women appear to possess in these modern times. The same value system that is the very fabric of who I am, the same values missing (sadly) from most Western women (again, in my limited experience).

The values I seek are honesty, loyalty, honour, courtesy, truth, hope, duty, respect, sacrifice, commitment, courage and undying love.

I am looking for an equal in all things, but not a competitor; life shouldn't be a struggle or a battle. I am seeking someone that appreciates me as a man, a person and a human being, and not by the depth of my wallet and the extent of my gullibility.

I am the last of a dying breed...

I stand corrected Shakespeare is not a good choice for wooing a women. My humor has clouded my vision for a moment.

You're not the last one my brother for I feel your pain as well. There are some good ones left unfortunately they are few and far between. Being old fashioned seems to not count for much these days. But I won't change, carry on my young Grasshopper and when you least expect it she will reveal herself unto you. And maybe just maybe she'll have a Vette of her own, sounds like a match made in heaven.

To lighten the moment:
We should start a singles club here on the forum. Men seeking Women with Vettes, please send picture of Vette.

Jack,

Chick Magnet? Alas! no.

Bowling Green, Ky is doable and so is Carlisle, Pa, provided I am not travelling (I'm always travelling to distant climes).

Sweet Deal!

You have to be born an American citizen to run for the highest office. But no, politics is not my forte. Wordsmith, rather.. in this I possess some small craft.

Ah true, but they are thinking of overturning for Arnie and after reading your posts I think you have got him in the vocabulary aspect. But if it comes down to benchpressing, as strong a man you look, my money is on Arnie.

I've been beating on Filthydelphia for thirty years. This is nothing new. Ever since I was stationed up there I've gained a new understanding of what the words, "dirty city" meant.

BTW, I made money on that game. I knew he wouldn't win.

Let me know. I'll be at both and I'd love to meet you in person (plus, when you're not looking maybe I can steal your supercharger).

Jack,

I would love to meet you and the rest of the CF gang. That would be great!!

You probably won't be able to pinch it because the Procharger will probably be gone in a month or 2 - I have my eye on a high compression C5-R 427 that is just calling to me - but N/A with a really, seriously wild, lumpy "shake the car at idle with no vacuum" cam.

Or TTi on the LS1. Or cam/heads/headers on a 383 stroker... who knows right now. I'm in several minds on what I want.

Mostly, I want off-idle stump pulling torque and not peaky horsepower.

Later this month I'm off on my Latin American tour - San Juan (Puerto Rico), Sao Paulo (Brazil) then Buenos Aires (Argentina) so I will probably do the dirty when I get back in early March.

So, like I said, if I'm not travelling in May and August - I'll definitely be there!

Stephen

in my neck of the woods, the girls would rather have a 4x4 lifted F350 than my vette. Too many older guys drive em' so tehy dont figure a young buck like me would be cruisin' .. maybe when I get some pipes out the back they'll turn some more heads.

... oh wait, i did let a 12 yr sit in the pass. for about four seconds once.

That's rough. Of course, when "older girls" means any female that is over the age of 19 ---- it's hard to be sympathetic to your plight!!!

How's your car repair going?????
