I take the roof off even if i'm just going up the road to go to a friends or to go grocery shopping. My roof stays off until it starts to rain or gets below 55degrees.

And if your really want to get blown, get a Vert and put the top down ( plus your s/o's if she let you )

that's the reason why i bought a vert, i love getting blown
seriously, it's been said by some CF members that it's actually windier at speed in a topless coupe than it is in a vert. i've only ridden in my vert so i have nothing to compare to. is this true?

HECK YEA! Every friggin chance I get. It takes literally 3 minutes to get the roof off and into the hatch. It's the only reason I got the coupe instead of the Z06! Pseudo-convertible.

It takes me 30 seconds at most to take mine off. I take it off every chance I get. I love it.
Does anyone actually ride around, like say on the freeway, with the roof off their C5 coupe? My coupe looks really good with the roof off, but I can't really imagine how it would do at 70 mph with it off.
Shoot yeah! I drive around with the top off all the time in the spring and fall.
Gotta get me some of those wind deflector thingys that pop the trunk open a little.
I'm gonna have to try it! Hard to imagine, I've had the car over a year, and never rode around with the top off! Course it rarely hits 70 degrees around here either. Thanks for answering my thread. I posted a thread about Agostino heads, and Precision Porting and Coatings, (asking if anyone had experience with them), and it was like I farted or something. I feel accepted again. "I'm smart enough, and I'm good enough, and doggonit, people like me!"
Oh, we like you. We just don't know beans about "Agostino heads".
Rarely hits 70 degrees up there? Brrrrr! Course it doesn't do it here often enough either. It's been five or six days since it was 70!

i always drop the top in my convertable even when im on the highway...feels AWESOME...but if you have some books with lose papers in them they will be all over your trunk and sometimes even try to fly out through the passenger side...thats if your riding alone...I LOVE DRIVING WITH THE TOP OFF...thats the main reason i bought a convertable
I love riding around with my targa off. One night last summer i got her up to 130 mph on a stretch of barren highway with the top off. Needless to say my head was pinned to my headrest.
Same here about 2 weeks ago and the wind isn't any louder at 130 than at 70 and tubulance isn't that bad. Thats what it's all about wind in your hair in most of our cases both of them(both hairs)
