Default Can you reprogram the PCM fuel sending unit input

Ok, so I know the C5 and C6 vettes have two fuel level inputs to the PCM and the F-Bodys have one. I can get rid of one fuel level input but the Ohm range on the new vehicles is much different than my 1984 corvettes 0-100 ohm range. Can the PCM fuel sensor input range be modified?

Thanks, id really like to have a fuel level gauge
