Quick question, whats the disserence between
Tri Y Headers and 2 3/4 Cat X Pipe-$1650.00
and the
Tri Y Headers and 2 3/4 Cat Dual QTEC X Pipe-$2050.00
besides the price, what is the benifit?

With the QTEC X Pipe you bypass your mufflers. Gains are 5-15hp more. And dont forget the fun factor

I saw a video of the cutouts. It looked like the installation I saw only bypassed a portion of the exhaust; some still went through the mufflers. Do the cutouts entirely divert the flow from the mufflers or act as a pressure relief? Just curious.

A small portion goes through the mufflers. The exhaust takes the path of least reistance. Makes the extra power from the lack of back pressure.

Is the QTP tri-y ever on sale? I don't find it in the web site. Just find camaro long tube headers.....
Any informations about it?

They don't sell them anymore for C5s and I also wanted a set so I called them to see of a set was lying around, Nope.
