Anybody have experience with good tires in 19 inch? I don't care about wear or wet handling. I just want maximum dry grip. I'm currently on Yokohama AVS sports and am not to impressed with'em in the dry. They are decent in the wet though.
Any experience and opinions would be greatly appreciated.
I had Pirelli P-Zero Rossos and they handled really good, very sticky. I was happy with them. You just won't give you much milage. I have since switched to Michelin Pilot Sports, only because I widened my rear rims to 12" to put 345's on. The bad thing is that there are limited choices but now with the C6 with a 18/19 set up maybe more tire makers will produce a wider selection.
Good luck.
Thanks for the reply. Kinda wanted to stay in the 295-305 range. I'm not so sure I can fit any more tire underneath unless I do some cutting. Anybody know if Kumho makes a 19" or if the Michelin Pilot cups come in a 19".

I JUST put the 305 PRossos on my car - I am very happy with them - but I have found you have to run them around 27 lbs to get the best traction. There was a big change in traction compared to running them at 35 and then at 32. This is not to say I can not ignite them in 1st or second gear on my mn6 - but they are still good
Also these tires are remarkable as far as tire noise - so far I am happy!.
