Default lowering kit for rear

I am just wondering what I need to make my own lowering kit for the rear of the vette. I can buy one but it seems excessive for what is essentially a couple of bolts..

Thanks.

Originals are M14 x 6" long. I bought 8"ers from Ecklers for $20.00

dont buy from a retailer. I got mine from Daytona Nut and Bolt for $3. And 8" bolts will be too long, trust me i found out the hard way. Get 7" and you will be able to go so low that ur body hits ur wheels, or as high as you should need.

Are these metric bolts that you guys buy? I cannot find a supplier here for a long M14 bolt... and I have limited Imperial tools. I am originally from Australia and I dont want to infect my Corvette with SAE
