Default LGM Header install?

Since the search feature is out right now I have a question regarding the install. On JMX website, his instructions says to install the system in this order: headers, xpipe, cats, rear pipes, exhaust. His version is geared towards the cat system withOUT rear 02 bungs.

I have the rear 02 bungs and this past weekend I installed the system on my car. However, I put the kit in this order: headers, cats, xpipe, rear pipes, exhaust. Being that I will use the rear 02's, I assume having the xpipe AFTER the cats is right because the rear 02's are used to "see" if the cats are working. Am I correct? And will this hurt performance or the cats in anyway?

TIA...

I have heard that with the metal matrix cats it's not necessary to have them close to the engine and thats why LG's system has them all the way in the back but you are also correct in saying that in order for the rear o2 sensors to work properly they need to be mounted after the cats.

I would think you'll be fine and I'm willing to bet once more people running the LG headers start to chime in you'll find a large mix of people running the cats before and after the x-pipe.

Mine is after the x-pipe with no problems. My rear o2 sensors were edited out.

Yes, with the rear sensors being used, it would be Headers/cats/X/mid section
